These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Clean Watermark ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible at cleanwatermark.ai. By accessing our platform you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please stop using the service.

1. What We Offer

Clean Watermark is a link-based watermark removal tool. You paste a public Sora share link, our servers request a clean render from the source platform's API, and we return the resulting download URL. No video file is uploaded to or stored on our infrastructure.

2. Who May Use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old. By using the platform you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Permitted Use

You may use our service when:

  • You created the video yourself and hold full rights to it
  • You have explicit written authorization from the rights holder to modify the content
  • Your use qualifies as fair use under applicable law (e.g., personal archiving, educational research)
  • Your activity complies with the source platform's own terms of service

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Process videos you do not own or lack permission to modify
  • Remove legally required attribution or credits
  • Circumvent digital rights management or copy-protection systems
  • Redistribute processed content for commercial gain without proper licensing
  • Reverse engineer, probe, or attack our systems
  • Automate requests (scraping, bots) beyond normal human usage
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label our service
  • Use the platform for any activity that violates applicable law

5. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. All activity under your account is your responsibility. Notify us at support@cleanwatermark.ai immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Plans, Credits & Payments

6.1 Plans

We offer Free, Starter, and Plus tiers. Current pricing and credit allocations are shown on our pricing page and may be updated with 30 days' notice.

6.2 Billing

All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges at the interval you selected (monthly or yearly).

6.3 Trials

Some plans include a free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged the subscription fee — however, successfully processed videos during the trial may be billed at the per-video rate described in our Refund Policy.

6.4 Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All code, design, branding, and documentation on cleanwatermark.ai are our property and protected under applicable intellectual-property law. You retain full ownership of every video you process through the service.

8. Third-Party Platforms

Our tool interacts with external platforms solely through the links you provide. You are responsible for complying with each platform's terms of service. We do not grant — and cannot grant — any additional rights over third-party content.

9. Independence Disclaimer

Clean Watermark is an independent project. We have no affiliation, endorsement, or partnership with OpenAI or any video-generation provider.

10. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or experience outages. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind—express or implied—including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that watermark removal will succeed for every video or meet subjective quality expectations.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We bear no responsibility for legal consequences arising from your unauthorized use of the service

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

14. DMCA

We respect copyright. If you believe content was processed in violation of your rights, send a DMCA takedown notice to support@cleanwatermark.ai with (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) the allegedly infringing activity, and (c) your contact information and certification.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for Terms violations or at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from your settings. On termination your right to use the service ends immediately and your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where we operate. We encourage resolving disagreements informally first — contact us before initiating formal proceedings.

17. Changes

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes take effect 30 days after posting or upon email notice. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
