Refund Policy

At Clean Watermark we want every transaction to feel fair. This policy explains when refunds apply and how the process works.
The Short Version
If our service genuinely fails on a technical level, we will make it right. If the service performed as designed, refunds are not available because each processed video consumes real compute resources.
When We Issue Refunds
We consider refunds when:
- A technical failure on our side prevents the video from processing at all
- A prolonged outage makes your subscription unusable for a significant portion of the billing period
- Processing produces no usable output (complete failure, not minor quality variance)
Credits are never consumed for failed attempts — only successful downloads count.
When Refunds Do Not Apply
- The watermark was removed but the result does not meet subjective quality preferences
- You forgot to cancel before your billing cycle renewed
- You used all or most of your credits and then requested a refund
- The source platform's link expired or was taken down after we delivered the clean URL
Trial Billing
During a free trial you can explore the service at no upfront cost. If you cancel before the trial ends, no subscription fee is charged. However, each video that was successfully processed and made available for download during the trial will be billed at $5.00 per video.
How trial billing works:
- Only completed, downloadable videos are counted
- Failed or errored attempts are never charged
- The charge covers the real cloud-compute cost of processing
- Usage is calculated from trial start to the moment you cancel
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account billing page:
- Cancellation is immediate — no further charges occur
- Remaining credits or access end at cancellation
- Trial users are billed only for successfully processed videos as described above
Before You Cancel
If you are having trouble getting good results, contact us first. We are often able to help with link formatting, source-platform quirks, or other issues that can be resolved without cancelling.
How to Request a Refund
Email support@cleanwatermark.ai with:
- Your account email or transaction ID
- A description of what went wrong
We review every case individually and respond within 24–48 hours.
